Getting to Warsaw
Flight
There are two international airports in Warsaw: Warsaw Chopin (WAW) and Modlin (WMI).
Both airports offer public transport to the Warsaw City center.
From Warsaw Chopin Airport (https://www.lotnisko-chopina.pl/en/index.html) the best is to take a city train located next to the terminal.
From Warsaw Modlin Airport (https://en.modlinairport.pl/).
Both airports are easy to access by taxi and Uber or Bolt.
Train or Bus
You can easily reach Warsaw by train or tourist bus from major European cities, e.g. there is a direct train from Berlin which takes approx. 5 hours.
We strongly encourage you to take the sustainable transport options which are reasonable in time and price.

Polish VISA
If you are a citizen of an EU member state within the Schengen agreement you can enter Poland with a valid travel document or your national ID.

Staying in Warsaw
Currency
Poland uses Polish zloty (PLN) as a main currency. The current exchange rate is 1EUR = 4.33 PLN and 1USD = 4.02 PLN. You are advised check the current exchange rate to other currencies at your bank website. In most of the railing places like shops, restaurants, hotels, etc. you would be able to pay with the common debit or credit cards (the most popular are Visa and Mastercard). You’ll find also many ATMs in case you need cash.
Language
We speak Polish, but most people speak English as a second language.
Weather
During your visit, you can expect average temperatures that hit up to 12°C (about 54°F). The low still drops to a chilly 3°C (about 37°F), so you'll still want to come prepared with a coat or parka to wear, especially in the colder evening hours. April should be also rainy with average precipitation of 38 mm.
